USC Thornton School of Music’s Winter Gala

A native of Belgium with roots in France and an experienced vocal coach, pianist, and conductor, Kristof Van Grysperre is artistic director at Angels Vocal Art in Pasadena, California. Kristof Van Grysperre holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in keyboard collaborative arts and a Master of Music in orchestral conducting from the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music, which will hold its Winter Gala on Dec. 8, 2018.

Presented by the USC Thornton School of Music and its Choral and Sacred Music department, the annual Winter Gala raises funds to support student scholarships. Themed Sounds of the Season, the 2018 gala will include 250 instrumentalists and vocalists leading songs and Christmas carols.

The winter gala will take place at 7 p.m. in Bovard Auditorium at the USC University Park Campus, with an optional dinner prior to the concert at the Amy King Dundon-Berchtold University Club of USC at 5 p.m. Dinner attendees will enjoy a three-course meal while listening to performances by USC Thornton students.
